Over My Head by The Fray

Funny, I haven't placed a song from them yet in this list.

Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake featuring Clipse

Didn't like the song at first, but that beat is just so infectious. The rap amps the cool factor up.

Chances by Athlete

First song from the album. Very weepy.

Belief by Gavin DeGraw

Check out my review addendum over at my blog, http://ronniegatsby.blogspot.com. I love this song because it's an intelligent song. Not that it's smartly written but because you'd know it comes from someone who's made right decisions in life. This song for me is all about affirmation - knowing that you made the right decisions then. No regrets.

Here It Goes Again by OK Go

Is it new music week or what? The video of this one is just soo adoable. You should've seen them perform at the MTV VMAs.

It Ends Tonight by All American Rejects

Whoa, lots of good music this week huh?

Caught this on TRL, and it was just darned lovely. Liked "Dirty Little Secret", loved "Move Along", but this song takes the cake. I've already mentioned that I love slow-starting songs with an all-out coda, and this is one fine example to rock yourself out on.

Must get this album.

Statue by Low Millions

I think I was listening to 'Eleanor', their first single over at my Launchcast station, and learned that the lead singer was Leonard Cohen's son. Interesting.

For the heck of it, purchased the CD as a trial, and immediately loved it. Will post more great songs from the album later.

The Mixed Tape by Jack's Mannequin

Ooh, great pickup from One Tree Hill. Lovely, lovely song.

Wires by Athlete

Hmm... got wind of this one through PJ. He bought the CD and posted that he bought the CD. Anyway, great song, if only weepy. I think it's time to turn on the waterworks.

Open Your Eyes by Snow Patrol

That album is just great - listened to this one while floating up the elevator. My full album review is in my main blog.

Hands Open by Snow Patrol

Lovely song. Like a bright sunshine opening up after weeks of rain - Snow Patrol livened up my recently purchased CD list. The last couple of CDs I bought were long-searched-for albums, and I must say that this one is a definite gem. Thanks Mau for the tip!

Inside Out by VonRay

Hey, check out the Smallville Soundtrack, it's surprisingly good. Yeah, some of the tracks are an 11 out of 10, but I expected some to be absolute downers - guess I was wrong.

Long Distance Call by Phoenix

Interesting song - check out its remixes.

Everything by Lifehouse

Gosh, I love this song so much that it hurts.

Song For A Friend by Jason Mraz

Probably my favorite non-ballad song from Jason. Great way to fuse that opera background of his.

Climb up over the top.
Survey the state of the soul.
You've got to find out for yourself whether or not you're truly trying.
Why not give it a shot?
Shake it. Take control and inevitably wind up
Find out for yourself all the strengths you have inside of you.
